Paranga is my first stop straight from landing in Cape Town airport. I go every Summer and the restaurant offers an atmosphere like no other. Situated in the sunshine across the road from Camps Bay beach, Paranga is the place to enjoy a cocktail at sunset or a seafood platter for dinner. The steak is delectable as is the seafood and sushi. The service is of the highest standard and the value, being South Africa, is second to none. The quality of produce and delicious cocktails will NOT disappoint, I really do guarantee. The location is great, just near the nightlife and also a few other more touristy restaurants (they aren't as good!) and there is a safe cab rank right outside to take you wherever you need to go!

I have been coming to Camps Bay for years and Paranga has always been a favourite and where I take my UK clients, but not again. The seafood platter which is supposed to be their speciality was pretty disappointing and average. It's R1000 and you expect the wow factor... There was no wow. Seafood was cooked well but a flat unimpreasive platter... Great for cocktails!

The restaurant has a nice environment and a great view of the sea. Though the music was a little bit to loud. The menu has a great choice of dishes to choose from; all of the plates are served with an interesting touch of style. The service overall is good.

The food was very good and the service excellent, but the main reason for coming to this part of town is purely for the sunset. Incredible as you sit back sipping a cocktail!
