We absolutely love Col'Cacchio's pizzas and was heartbroken when the Plattekloof branch closed down.

But Wednesday was a stunning day so I decided to sit outside and ordered a Caesar salad instead. The cos leaves were in a pile, drenched in mayo and grated cheese. The croutons and quartered hard boiled egg were placed around the leaves. The taste was good, but not incorporating the egg and especially the croutons into the dressing made it very dry. The croutons should be able to absorb some of the dressing. Also missed the Parmesan shavings on top. For some strange reason it also took a long time to prepare the dish although the most of the tables were empty.

So although it was a good try, the Caesar salad is not up to the standard of the rest of the menu. So it is pizza again next time.

Service was not as good as expected, and the drinks came rather slow - but the food is AMAZING. The best pizza I have had in a long time. Such a variety and the atmosphere is very nice. Not the best romantic setting, but great for friends going out for great pizza.

We only wanted to have a drink. The waiter offered us to have some food, but we did not feel ready to eat. But then we could see all the nice plates coming out from the kitchen. Thus we dicided to share a pizza. It was a good decision, the pizza was the best we had for a long time. We will come back for shure.

On Willow Bridge Mall. Good flexibility with make your own salads and pizzas. Pasta dishes not so good: much tomato salsas and little of that fresh zing that pasta can easily have.
Cramped table arrangements but imaginative and flexible waiting staff who make you feel at home.

Now becoming a fair size chain in Western Cape, Col Cacchio really does offer good food at a reasonable price. pizzas are excellent and the salad choice is terrific especially as you can "build your own"
Service and wine selection is OK.
May not be fine dining but is certainly is good dining.
