I have to admit now that I’ve eaten many times at Zibaldone over the years but it has occurred to me that I have never written a review on Trip Advisor. I think it now especially poignant with the recent surge in new restaurants opening in the area. I have always thought of Zibaldone as (hands down) the best restaurant, Italian or otherwise, in the northern suburbs. I would even go as far as saying if this establishment was placed in Bree Street or Marble Arch it would give the more established names a run for their money. After having tried most of the new restaurants in the area I can confidently restate my previous synopsis that Zibaldone’s crown (in my books at least) is safe. Whenever I have visitors to the area I direct them straight for this wonderful restaurant. The food is uncannily excellent, with every bite of almost all menu items putting a smile of almost disbelief your face. This diner even found himself humming and doing a small jig in delight. My hats off to the two proprietors, Adriano and Roberto, who you will always see on the floor interacting with patrons and going as far as they can to make your experience just that much better. True, and traditional restauranteurs if there were. A must visit
