“Crowded Valley!”
Reviewed October 3, 2012

We stayed in the Palace for 2 days and went there both. Week days were packed with school kids.
Very good, there is an alarm that sounds to warn that big waves are coming.
Go early to get a place in the shadow, and leave early to avoid the crowds...

“Over-rated - don't make the trip just for this”
Reviewed September 26, 2012

This was quite ordinary. I expected to see continuous wave pools and other attractions but it was one big pool with waves every few minutes. The slides were ok. I spent half an hour there and it was more than enough...not worth the drive really unless you fancy a dip after a good safari drive.

“Great fun for kids”
Reviewed September 26, 2012

Its a beach environment in the middle of the country. The water slides, wave pool and constant activities make it great for kids and families. Get there early to get a decent space as it fills up quick during the day

“Good fun if it is sunny”
Reviewed September 17, 2012

On a sunny day it will make for a great outing. The artificial waves are good & fairly large. A good experience. Also they have a few water slides which are quite interesting with some steep incline & bends.

“Exhilarating fun”
Reviewed September 14, 2012

Since I stayed at the Palace of the Lost city, the entry was free. It was a nice walk from the hotel to this artificial beach. The sand was soft and the water very cold but yet had a lot of fun. The waves were high and came with a lot of force. I enjoyed riding the waves. The atmosphere was festive with music playing and lots of drinks and food.
The only problem was that there were lots of bees and one got into my bag , so I was scared of being stung.
