Arrived in the darkness of early evening.... don't be fooled by the rought track road to the gates or the warning sign about dangerous animals, it's leading you to a little spot of peace and quiet in a sublime location. Staff are spot-on, speak good english and are willing to help with anything you need.
Traditional bush lodge, beautifully illuminated in the middle of nowhere! Just the creatures of the night and the stars to distract you. Beautifully crafted rooms and lounge to help you relax and let all your cares slip away. Each of the 7 rooms looks over a gorge, and the distant bushveld, dotted with wildlife and maybe the odd zebra and if you look really carefully you'll meet the resident giraffe - Gilly.
The attentive staff will serve you beautiful 4 course meals at night, serve great wine and then let you sit by the log fire at night in the lounge.....take a good book, no TV in the room, but who needs it with the views they have here. You won't need cash, the nearest ATM is 20k away, just take some sturdy pumps and go for a day walk through the gorge.
Take a morning game drive to see lots of animals, impala, rhino, wildebeest....... it's all included in your stay. Then take the afternoon game drive to go deep into the plains and see the most beautiful sunset...........
Come here to relax, nothing else. De-stress, take in the silence and enjoy.
