“Plenty of animals but you feel they are not wild ones”
Reviewed September 13, 2008

It is an experience for anybody, very easy, like going to the zoo.
We got there with our car and saw plenty of animals all over the place, but...they were not afraid of anything at all! We felt we were at a huge zoo more than in a wild area.
We went on safari in a true wild area, so we can compare both experiences. Although we took great pictures here, we didn't feel the excitement of the other safari. Here, elephants didn't break trees down; zebras and wildbeests relaxed in front of us.
It is a nice experience but, remember, you are not watching wild animals.

“Pilanesburg National park”
Reviewed December 30, 2006

Really enjoyable day. Although we only saw 3 of the big five (elephant, rhino and water buffalo) it was just such a treat to take in the natural beauty of plants, birds and game. Also saw a troop of baboons- hilarious (but dangerous) creatures. It is hot, so take a bottle of water and some sunblock.
