This was our 6th or 7th visit to Kwa Maritane and every time we are sad to leave! After our first visit we decided to invest in timeshare as it is so relaxing and peaceful and a perfect breakaway from the mad rush in the city.
The cabana is very spacious for two people but can also accommodate four. There is an upstairs bedroom with king size bed and TV in the room. On the landing is a bathroom and downstairs is a kitchenette and lounge / dining area with another TV. Everything you need (crockery and all cooking utentils) is provided for if you prefer self-catering. The kitchenette has a microwave, stove, fridge/ freezer and even a dishwasher. Outside on the patio there is a gas "braai" and another "braai" for wood / briquettes.
The restaurant provides a nice selection of meals that are not too expensive for the locals. We do however find that the buffets are very expensive.
If you have a sweet tooth, try the chocolate mousse for dessert. It is to die for!
The staff always are very friendly and helpful.
We tried the spa for the first time this year and enjoyed the experience thoroughly.
In short, it is most enjoyable to stay over at Kwa Maritane and I will certainly recommend it.More
