Pleasant stay (clean , comfy ,very calm and friendly at reception)to visit Saint -Lucia.We spend 2 nights end of April (less tourists this period)and we enjoyed visiting the whole area. As we where 2 family's with 6 children we ordered lunchpackets for the 2nd day : very democratic prices and top!!
Just a little issue at breakfast : kitchenpersonal is very slow..(not enough on the buffet and they bring 4 toasts each 20minutes , although there are 25 people waiting to eat and to leave early at morning..) dispatching problem ?

We spent 3 nights at the Amazulu Lodge. It was recommended
In a famous travel guide and the price was exactely what we
Were expecting.
The lodge is a really nice place, mainly made of wood. there must be something like
20 rooms all around a huge swimming pool. The room was
nicely decorated, with a small terrace with a table and 2 chairs.
Large bed, fridge, shower and bath hub, AC, cable TV, clean.
Breakfast was really good, buffet service with eggs and toasts on demand.
The lodge is down McKenzie Street, and Saint Lucia is a
Truely beautiful village, we definitely loved it and our trip thhough
Could not start any better way.
The staff at the lodge was really welcoming and kind.
We had to leave in the early morning and the evening before a breakfast was
Kindly packed for us and left in the fridge.

It was our second time around at AmaZulu Lodge. What an enjoyable stay. The rooms are nicely done and comfortable. Beautiful enclosed garden and pool with a fire in the boma at night. Great ambiance! Service was excellent and staff friendly.Next time we visit St Lucia we will stay at AmaZulu!

Ideal for Business and holiday. Do business on aregular basis and enjoy this accomadation. Very relaxing at the pool side and sitting around the fire at night. Breakfast is first class and I enjoyed the Beuaty Salon. Will call again soon and think that I can expect the same friendly reception.

The service we received was unbelievable right from check-in to check-out! The staff were friendly and always helpful. The rooms were spacious and each had their own unique touch of Africa as well as Italy. I loved the basins and shower in particular!!

The food was outstanding. Chef on site to cook dinners. Breakfast was a buffet breakfast (I put on at least 3 kg's whilst at AmaZulu Lodge)! They have an "honest bar" at the lodge which was lovely to see.

We had hippos outside our windows at least on two occasions as they come up from the estuary to the drier lands to see what they can munch.

All in all, a lovely time had by all!

Thanks to AmaZulu Lodge, it's friendly staff and owners!!

Four couples from our golf club in Kent, UK stayed one night at Amazulu Lodge. This B&B is very conveniently situated on the main street, but the downside is that the rooms facing the road are very, very noisy. If you stay there make sure that you ask for a room at the back of the property. The breakfast service was very disorganised and the staff seemed overwhelmed. We have stayed at Amazulu lodge previously and the window blinds are woven and very see-through. These have now been lined but the blind over the glass door has not been lined. As a result in certain rooms you can see into the bedrooms with the light on.
