Our time at Hotel Numbi was a totally delightful experience. The hotel staff at the front desk went the extra mile to get us a room as we showed up without a reservation, koodoos to them. The food was great, the room was huge, the bed comfortable and the Wifi worked. Hotel Numbi is located right along the main motor way and has great accessibility. We will definitely book ahead next time and spend a few nights at Hotel Numbi. It was an added pleasure when we ran into a friend from Singapore staying at the same hotel, we had dinner and breakfast together.

We visited Hotel Numbi by chance. We arrived in Sabie early evening and Hotel Numbi & Garden Suites was the second lodging we checked out in town (the first was a bit pricey for a usual overnight stay).
Already the first impression of the hotel was great - the main building is tucked away in a lush green garden. The staff was very helpful and welcoming and the room really huge with a large balcony. In France you could fit 3 average hotel rooms into that room :)
Although the interior was a bit worn down in some places, the room had a LCD TV and a free wifi so the overall impression was great. The bathroom matched the main room and besides the shower it had also a bathtub.
The breakfast was abundant and the kitchen staff was really attentive. Making the fried eggs/omelette/scrambled eggs etc in front of you is a nice touch.
The hotel itself is centrally located, large shopping centres around the corner. Considering the amenities, this hotel is excellent for longer stays but the price range is suitable also for the travellers who are just looking for the bed and breakfast.

Having run out of time to get to Kruger Park in the evening we were looking for a place to stay in Hazyview - fortunately for us we found Numbi. We were given a room in the main house which exceeded our expectations, lovely big bed, large open plan bath and a separate shower, the main house is also set in a very secure part of the complex.

We were hungry and the restaurant was running a Buffet for the evening, this turned out to be a tremendous variety of food - starters, mains and puddings. It ended up costing £9 per person - brilliant value.

The service we received in the restaurant was really excellent, thanks to our waiter 'Shadow' who really looked after us.

We would stay again

As part of a larger biker group, I stayed for 3 nights. The rooms / corridors are a bit no-frill, but clean and proper. The restaurant (dinner/breakfast) and the garden bar are excellent (quality and service). But I have asked for a little concierce favor, which should be standard for any hotel in the world - but have been given a run-around by a grumpy receptionist - "go and buy it in town"...this moves the rating from 5 to 3. Considering this is as one-off, the hotel is recommended, especially due to facilities for larger events.

As part of a group of fifty motor cyclist, this year was the 3 rd year in a row we stayed there for a weekend.
The rooms are clean and tidy, but I personaly think the menu needs a re-do. It is bland and no immagination, and to greasy to my liking.
We had a heartly welcome on arrival and this family run business is worth a stay.
