We spent only two nights at the Rissington but it was enough to tell us we shall be going back!
Superb, peaceful and relaxed stay. The food was first class and the staff were 'the best'. Here is a hotelier who knows what he's doing.

My husband and I spent one nice at the Rissington in following our Safari week in Kruger Park. Had we known how much we would have enjoyed the beautiful grounds, laid-back vibe, lovely food, and wonderful staff, we would most certainly have booked to stay longer. Located just one short mile off of the busy hazy view Road, set on a lovely vista overlooking green hills, the Inn is a welcoming oasis. After checking in by signing the register and being offered a refreshing drink, my husband and I retreated to the balcony over the bar and played boardgames and sipped lovely wine until dinner time. Rissingtin Inn is just that kind of place. Kick back and relax. The food was fabulous, highly recommend the crocodile curry!! Our room was clean spacious comfortable with beautiful linens. Just a note though, not all rooms have air-conditioning you might want to inquire before hand. Also, only the family cottages have TVs. Absolutely not a problem because TVs would only distract from the purpose of stank as such a laid back establishment. For those who need to stay connected however wireless is available in rooms and in the main house. Overall, loved it and would be very happy to visit again should be be in the area.

This is the 4th time I have stayed at Rissington Inn and once again I was impressed by the friendly welcome, personal touches, large comfortable rooms and delicious food. Conveniently situated to the Kruger Park and other attractions like the Blyde River canyon, Pilgrims Rest and Bourkes Luck.

I will be back !

We used this as a stop off on the way back to Johannesburg from the Timbavati. The grounds are nice rather than spectacular, the suite we had was spacious and comfortable. The food was good, and the dining area very nice. Would definitely stay again.

Stayed for three wonderful nights in October - we initially only intended staying one! We were recommended to try Rissington by a third party, sight unseen. What a wonderful surprise - the rooms were spacious, the staff very friendly and welcoming, thanks Kevin and Will. The food was great, with a very varied menu. We were self driving and found it a great place from which to access both Kruger NP and the Panorama Way. After this first visit, we will definitely be returning next year. Highly recommended. A thoroughly nice place to stay.

Stayed for 3 nights in October 2013. Great place to use as a base for the Panorama Route and as a base to jump off into Kruger.
Great food, relaxed feel.
Staff all pleasant and knowledgeable. Even down to bringing you a cold beer (after a very hot day) to drink on your room's veranda.
Car got cleaned for free every morning!
We will definitely be back and this time will probably stay the night before our flight home to relax after safari.
