The resort was perfect for a family getaway for five adults from Pretoria. The chalet was stocked with all the amenities you need for your stay. We loved the serenity of the place.
The condo is so lovely and the kitchen is well appointed. We enjoyed the tranquil setting in lush gardens and watching impalas graze outside. So convenient close to shops and the Kruger Park. Very neat and clean. We love staying here. Thanks so much!! Online booking a cinch. Staff at resort all nice and helpful. The restaurant is great too.
Cambalala Kruger Park Lodge is a very tranquil place, with beautiful cottages fit for a whole family. Its nothing short of amazing!, I will definitely visit again.
Cambalala offers exceptional value in the very popular Kruger Park Lodge. The unit is very well equipped with plenty of bed space and even has a washer. The outside braai area is really great. We will definitely stay here again.
The check in was smooth, house was clean and neat, house was clean every day, great location to drive to nearby Kruger Park and sight seeing
I booked 2 adjacent lodges for a group of 11 friends, what a find. The lodges are well equipped with plenty of room and so comfortable. All of us were extremely happy to stay here. Close to the gates into the Kruger National Park, so you could spend all day in KNP then come back and relax and have a braai of course whilst sitting on the deck listening to the Africa night... what could be better.
The surroundings are very pleasant , there are a couple of pools, a golf course and a very large Lake full of Hypo's and a Croc or 2, the wildlife is all around you, the impala come and monkeys are all over the resort.
We ate in the Restaurant one night to celebrate my friends birthday, good food, good wine and very friendly staff, we loved the way all the kitchen and waiting staff came out to sing the most wonderful happy birthday to my friend, what a treat that was.
There is nothing not to like, its a gated secure resort, with a local bar just near the security gates. Shops very close by in Hazy view and it didn't cost the earth, we just loved it here!
Just to start with why I reduced the Rating by one point: Raymond had told us that the accomodation was accessible and we had a Person in a wheelchair. It is definitely not. Fortunately we were able to manage with the two steps to the terrace, though this meant we had to make a fairly long way through the grass.
But this is absolutely the only negative point about this house that I would fully recommend to everybody who does not have issues with 4 steeps steps without handrail! The whole Lodge is really great and the Price/ Performance Ratio good.
