The Location - Hazyview, near Kruger Park Gate, and for the Panorama Route.
Do not forget to visit Graskop - Harries Pancakes...The unit was excellent, above expectations great value for your money. Highly recommended - would definitely visit again.
The location and accommodation was very nice and close to everything in the area. Quick trip in and out of the Kruger Park make's it so easy!
The accommodation was lovely and clean and is fantastic for a family break-away.
This is a great location for Kruger National Park. It is a fully equipped house that sleeps 8 or more (if you use the sofas). The unit is cleaned daily including doing the dishes. There are services on the property including a hippo pond, worth visiting. A herd of impalas visited in the morning. There are a few problems. First the two bathrooms are located inside the two downstairs bathrooms. If you close the bedroom door, the four occupants of the loft would not have access. Also, one has a shower and the other, only a tub. This is just bad design. The stove and oven were very difficult to operate. It took about an hour of Internet use and a call to maintenance to get the oven on. Please just provide instructions. The tub faucet handle kept falling off. Wifi is available for a fee, but buying the largest package, for about $10, lasted us one evening using two iPhones.
Compared to other rentals in the area, this is not bad.
The location to explore the delights of Mpumalanga and the Kruger National Park is fantastic. Restaurants in the area are easily accessed.
Hands down if you are going to visit Kruger Park there is no other place you should stay except Raymond's place. The pictures do not do the place justice, it was much better than expected. Raymond is very responsive to any messages, even considering the time difference which is very impressive. The place has all sorts of wildlife nearby walking in and out of the backyard and comes fully stocked. There is parking and all of the amenities you could want inside the house. Can't wait to stay here again!
After time in the Kruger Park, Cambalala was a perfect bit of luxury for our last few days in South Africa. The booking process and information supplied was very good and the lodge is exactly as shown.
The accommodation was very clean and well maintained and the Kruger Park lodge is a beautiful and quiet setting. Overlooking the pond, we had a family of ducks, some impala and a few monkeys as regular visitors.
Do make the effort to visit Hippo Hide during your stay, especially in the early evening.
A very enjoyable, relaxing stay in a lovely lodge.
Raymond has a great unit. It has plenty of sleeping options and the kitchen is well equipped. It has a lovely patio with a built in braai. A real bonus is the washing machine. Kruger Park lodge has a golf course which I found enjoyable to play, various swimming pools (with one not far from Raymond's unit) and a reasonably priced restaurant. It is also conveniently situated on the road to Phabeni gate and close to the new Hazyview Junction shopping centre. We are a family of four with two boys aged 10 and 8. We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Raymond's unit.
