We loved our night at Abangane and wish we had time to stay longer. We were warmly welcomed by Klaus, Ridwaan (and their 4 friendly dogs) and stayed in Room 6 which was quiet and spotlessly clean with a share of the communal terrace. As we had flown in from Cape Town that morning our only aim was to laze by the pool so we chose to book an evening meal at the guest house - and I am so glad we did!. Be aware that this may not be the right option if you are a picky eater as there is no choice of menu, but we found the food to be absolutely delicious. However, the real highlight was sitting out under the stars at a beautifully set table lit by candlelight with our attentive hosts ensuring that we had everything to make a memorable evening.I would certainly recommend doing this at least once as there are no restaurants in easy walking distance. Breakfast was equally good!
