I was at the Colorado Canyon after I visited Blyde River Canyon and was surprised why the Colorado Canyon gets so much attention when you have this beautiful area in South Africa.

It had a breath taking view that was very enjoyable to experience.

It is also a nice drive to get there with many stops worth the visit. Use a whole day in the area, you will be very satisfied.

The view into the canyon is spectacular. On par with the Grand Canyon and Fish River Canyon between to both.

Made the day trip from White River via Graskop to see this wonderful exhibit of nature. Just stunning. Fortunate to visit after Easter period when there were few other people there - so plenty of time to linger and enjoy the spectacular views. Well maintained and clean viewing areas - albeit minimal barriers.

One of the nicest places in South Africa, if not in the world. The viewpoints (especially Three Rondavels) are amazing. You can also hike down the canyon (have to pay a little fee at the top), which is strenuous, but a good way of experiencing the nature and surroundings. Plus, you can take a bath in the river! The canyon is a total highlight!

Always super in the lowveld. The beauty of Gods window and the canyon s not to be missed. The pure majesty of the area is awe inspiring. The area is well kept by the area management, and very worth a visit when in the area.

There are trinkets and curious to be bought, negotiate and only by South African!
