We booked to stay here when meeting up with friends who live in Arizona.
A lot of the reviews made it sound fairly mediocre, but as I always say, speak as you find!
We arrived to find a nice big, clean, above standard fitted out room in a Hotel with free parking, free wifi, free breakfast, microwave, coffee machine and fridge in the room as well as the necessary air conditioning (it was 99 degrees F outside at 7pm) plus they were really friendly staff.
The bed was very comfortable, the breakfast was vastly superior to English Travelodge's I have stayed in, especially two in London!
OK so the bathroom was a little tired, it was clean and everything worked, it's a bathroom which does what it says on the tin.
People have slated the breakfast, if you want haut cuisine stay in a fancy expensive place!
There was plenty of tea, coffee and fruit juice.
There was fruit and there was cereal.
There was cake and bread/toast.
There was freshly prepared waffles with syrup. What more could you expect?
I would most certainly stay again.

Room Tip: We had a room facing front which was great, I don't know what the rear facing rooms were like.

We stayed twice this year and each time the managers were very accomodating, friendly and professional. We mistakenly booked our trip during spring break and still did not have a problem! The second time, they remembered us and treated us just a well with a warm welcome. Definitely recommend!

Our 1st stay was in March 2013. It was spring break & we did not know it. The hotel staff was excellent-friendly-helpful & accomadating. They made sure we had a quiet stay & at spring break, that's amazing. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The staff provided us with information about the CIty, places to eat & quicker traveling routes. We like it so much we came back the 1st weekof Sept. 2013 & stayed again. Again excellent. I would advise anyone to stay here. I will be coming back without my husband & feel very safe to stay here alone.

Room Tip: Ask the check in clerk which rooms our to your liking as more quiet (@ spring break). West side vie...

Just a travelodge but the onsite owners are great which makes all the difference, very friendly, genuine and welcoming they go the extra mile. The location is fine 5 minutes from the bridge etc, the decor is typical travelodge but unlike many is clean and well maintained. The maintenance guy also does the breakfast and again is a helpfull etc, not like the average motel employee.

We've been staying at the Travelodge for a couple of years now, several times a year, mostly during the summer, and we're always happy to come back each and every time.

The Owners are on the premises 24/7, and if you ever need anything, just ask, they are the nicest, most accommodating people you'll ever meet. Rooms are basic, clean and functional. There is plenty of parking, along with three spaces for vehicles with trailers and there are alternative spaces right nearby in case you come in late and those are full. Full security (cameras) set up around the perimeter of the building and like another review said, the Owner is paying attention. This is not a "party-central" hotel, so if that's your deal, go somewhere else. Everyone I've ever met in the halls and in the common area are easy-going, happy-to-be-there people, ready to enjoy everything Havasu has to offer.

Oh and don't miss out on the complimentary breakfast! Fresh hot waffles made to order... along with cereals, pastries, fresh fruit, juices and most importantly, coffee! All served with a smile :)

For the reviewer who said the "location is poor" clearly they don't know how to read a map and/or doesn't know the town layout. This is exactly why we come back time after time, the location is perfect, it's just far enough away from the always-noisy city "center", and at the same time, it's less than 5 min to anywhere you need to go to get anything. You can walk to several local restaurants and try out the Italian place right next door, it may look like a dive on the outside, but it's casual, cozy and they serve good food inside. Like the saying goes, don't judge a book by its cover - this can be said for a lot of the "older" establishments in Havasu. I've been going there since the mid-80's and while it has changed (inevitable - some for better, some for worse) it still has a great low-key, local vibe that's welcoming to everyone who ventures in. I would suggest, for those who are incredibly hard to please, this is NOT the place to visit.

Of course, this is MY OPINION of all my stays at this particular hotel, and I have absolutely no reason or desire to book anywhere else when staying in Havasu, when this hotel has everything I need and look for right here.
