It's old. That's how you describe it in two words, but as I need 200 characters, I will go into more detail.
We were given one of the Cove Suites, and compared to the lovely new rooms outside the check-in office and in the photos, it was nothing like it. The floor was dirty, and the whole room did not look as if it had been cleaned. On our first day, housekeeping did not come even though we put our sign out. However, we were only made aware of the existence of this sign when we were told about it after we asked about it. On our second day, we returned to find that the room had been cleaned, but what we also found was that there was a strange black substance all over the sink. We called the front desk, and they sent someone to fix it, but it took almost half an hour. Combine all of this with the fact that it was almost as expensive as one night in a 5 star hotel on the Las Vegas Strip and you get a terrible combination. I would recommend that you stay away from this hotel completely.

Room Tip: Ask for one of the newer room

Dear Xozzy

Thank you for your review. We take all our reviews and feedback seriously. Recently under new management we have put a new preventive maintenance program in place to avoid future plumbing issues also we have invested into a carpet cleaning company to routinely service our rooms specifically during high occupancy. We have made some recent changes in our housekeeping department to better service our rooms for our guest.

Thank you for staying with us and we hope you stay with us again...

We went here during spring break and payed a little extra to get a better room but we found a very dirty room And a very very rude staff here who clearly do not care about their guest. TRUST ME DO NOT GO HERE

Comfortable bed, outdated rest of the room with multiple extension cords. VERY LOUD - boats outside back porch blaring all day and night, you can hear people running talking and fighting outside and in nearby rooms all night. But mostly I was upset by the inability to log into the internet, lack of safe password and how extremely slow -- like dial up -- it was. Couldn't even get waited on in the cafe when there were only 2 other parties there.

Room Tip: Don't get the rooms that are on the west side of the cove. They've not been updated. The rooms on the cove get a lot of boat noise from boats that park on the beach and rev their engines all day.

My husband and I really like this inn! There are more pros than cons! Pros - nice rooms overall! We stayed in a room on the bottom floor and when you walked outside there was the lake. Very nice! The room had two seperate televisions, front entrance room with a fold out couch, microwave, coffee machine, refrigerator, iron board, iron, hair dryer and plenty of space! One of the things I really liked about the room was the air and heat unit was by the front door. It was nice to have it for from the beds, cause I find that when they are close, you either freeze or burn up in the middle of the night. The con about the room was the lighting over the bathroom sink was very dim. Hard to see yourself when trying to get ready, make up etc. There is a bar and resturant on the property. Drinks are ok, not the best and the wait for your meal takes a very long time! We ordered something simple and we waited for over an hour for our food!!! Crazy I know!!! They have just installed a beautiful infinity pool! It is located on the property just perfectly! The pool as it drops off looks as if it is falling in to the lake! I am 7 weeks post op for acl surgery! I was able to walk with a cane around most of property, however there are lots of stairs and to really get any where on property is a little inconvenient for someone in a wheelchair. I would not recommend this in for anyone who has a bad hip or is in a wheelchair! Overall, it was a nice stay and I would return.

Last minute booking on Presidents' Day weekend we were happy to find a room in Lake Havasu.
Check in was interesting as the pavement outside the reception was smouldering?! The front desk clerk was on her own and had to leave the office to come out and deal with it! Our room was very old, flashback to the 60s. We felt like we had landed on Gilligan's Island! It was clean and roomy and it was nice to have a kitchenette. The patio was facing the lake which was awesome:) pretty decent overall.

Room Tip: Ask for a room on top floor so you don't hear footsteps late at night. And maybe a room that looks like the one they post a picture of... Unless you enjoy the original "retro" feel!
