“Loved The Place, Our new Regular Spot”
Reviewed May 25, 2010

We had a great time here. Our condo was clean and spacious. We loved the fact that we can stay in a condo for the price of a hotel room. There is a livingroom, kitchen, diningroom, bathroom and a bedroom. Our condo did have 2 queen beds in it (both in the same bedroom) as well as a pull out bed in the livingroom. We brought in food to BBQ and loved the fact that it had a regular sized refrigerator in it. We definetly would stay here again. We have stayed at other places in Havasu and they were OK but we kept searching for somewhere to make our regular place and we have found it!

Don't let the pictures fool you, the rooms were neither clean nor comfortable. Very dirty and staff was not helpful. There was hair everywhere when we arrived; on the floor and in the sink. Towels look dirty too. Not a good experience, beware.

Myself and my staff would like to apologize for the conditions you found in your suite.
The units are checked twice after housekeeping is completed, once immediately and agin prior to someone checking in to a particular unit. We must have dropped the ball on this one, and would like to make things right, although we wish you would have lodged an immediate complaint whereby we could have addressed those issues to your satisfaction.
We know that cleanliness is one of the attributes we have to sell and
we haven't had a cleaning complaint in the past 27 months.
Please give the g/m a call at your convenience to see if there is anything we can do to retain your business.

After a cold winter in Colorado, we decided to visit Lake Havasu for the lake and sunshine. We decided on Hidden Palms as it was advertised as a condominum hotel with reasonable rates. We were very pleased upon check in, the rooms were spacious and clean with a full kitchen completely equipped, comfortable living area with pull out sofa and separate bedroom. Rooms face an indoor courtyard overlooking the pool area and the outside barbeques were a plus as we didn't want to eat out every night. It is walking distance to downtown, grocery stores and area restaurants. The hotel has a large parking lot for boats, etc. We found the staff helpful in recommending sights to see and followed their recommendation for the delicious bakery across the street.

We stayed at Hidden Palms for a trip to visit friends on Christmas holidays. Our room was spacious and comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped and allowed us to prepare any type of meal we desired. We also used the outside BBQs which are located in a central courtyard. Although the pool was not operating, the courtyard was still a nice place to relax.

The staff was very accommodating of our very late arrival and very helpful and friendly in general.

This resort was great and a really reasonable price for what you get. We would definitely stay here again!

From the outside this place looks nothing and a bit out of the centre. But the place was spacious having a room with two double beds, a kitchenette area and a lounge with a pull-out sofa bed, so more space for the five of us. Smelt a bit musty though. Children enjoyed pool and there was a laundry if you needed to use it.

My friends and I have used these reviews and rankings to help us decide where to stay (many times in the past). We couldn't stay at the #1 rated hotel because it was booked. We decided that #2 would be the next best plan. Have to say that there is quite a difference between these two rankings! We needed 2 queen beds because there were 3 of us. The amenities, as written, are misleading. There was only 1 bed and the other was a very uncomfortable pull-out sofa. Needless to say, one of us had to sleep on the couch. We also had a very difficult time with the shower, very hot water and almost scalded. There is not daily maid service, and the room had an odor that smelled like insecticide. We could also hear the neighbors around us. That said, it was furnished and very clean. We did address our concerns with the management and they were very accomodating. We would not recommend mainly because of the price. For the price, we would have expected more.

We booked Hidden Palms as an overnight stay between LA and the Grand Canyon. It was purely somewhere to lay our heads, so I didn't go crazy (like I did on other hotels) and book anything expensive. This booking was made purely on price - and boy was it good for the price we paid!

Considering this was our cheapest hotel we stayed in over the 2 weeks we were traveling, it was one of the best. We got there in the sweltering heat and recieved a very warm welcome from the guy at reception (i suspect the owner). He took us past the hotel pool to our airconditioned room which had a decent bathroom and a fully equiped kitchen. He then took the time to ask our plans in Lake Havasu and as we didn't have a clue what there was, he took the time to tell us where the best restaurants were, where to park, how to get to London Bridge and most importantly told us where to get breakfast! In case he forgets to tell you, there is a bakery just across the block which does fabulous breakfast bagels - each one was filled with enough to feed an army!

This hotel had the lowest of expectations and blew them apart. I would not hesitate to reccomend this place.
