Owner description: The scenic shoreline of Lake Havasu State Park is an ideal place to enjoy beautiful beaches, nature trails, boat ramps, and convenient campsites. This spot is truly a watersport haven located near the famous London Bridge of Lake Havasu City. The park offers three boat ramps, 47 campsites, a special events area (not available on holiday weekends), picnic area, and beach area. The Mohave Sunset Trail (1.75 miles) winds its way through the lowland desert and along the shoreline. The Arroyo-Camino Interpretive Garden showcases the diverse life that exists within the park and this area of the desert. Birds, lizards, and desert cottontails are common sights.

Clean, spacious, nice views, interesting plants, birds and people. GREAT place to bring kids. Pack a lunch and enjoy the waterside benches and tables. Wish we had one like this close to home!

We camped at this park during spring break. While the campground was full, it didn't feel crowded to us. Make sure you look at google maps satellite view before making a reservation if privacy is important to you. Some of the campsites were grouped together without much privacy at all. There are no hookups. electric, etc, but the campground is scheduled to be upgraded. There is restrooms/ showers, but they are small and not very clean. Campground is close to the lake which was nice. Our site had a table with a cover and a fire ring. Also, if you are tent camping I would recommend a tarp under your tent as the ground is more rock than grass. Overall we had a good time for cheap ($20/ night when we went).

Just north of the London Bridge this State Park encourages families and enforces rules to keep the place clan and healthy. Boat ramps for boats and PWC. Decent bathroom facilities. A 1.5 miles hiking trail (easy) . good place to swim and enjoy the beach. A few campsites at reasonable price.
Not attractive to the party crowd.
