The accommodation, as with the Sanparks accommodation, was clean and adequate. Everything worked well, although the shower set up was a bit awkward and there was some sort of repair work attempted in the kitchen. Not that it bothered us much - we braai-ed outside on the verandah area which was fantastic.
Ice and wood was available from the reception - nothing else. Quite secluded and fantastic bushveld experience. Ensure that you factor in sufficient time to get to the camp. It is quite a long drive from anywhere, and you are likely to stop often, very often, to see animals!! The hyena howling was so load one night we thought it was on our stoep. The lion roaring the next morning was so load that it was as if the leaves behind us was vibrating!! Oh yes, and the Ranger, Bridgetown, was exceptionally knowledgable about the bush and the animals in it., Our game drive was great - saw lion, and loads of other animals. Book in advance for the drives as you are unlikely to be able to get one of waiting when you arrive at the camp.More
