I had always wanted to stay at Biyamiti and so booked 2 nights late November/early December. The brush along 18 km road was extremely thick so game viewing was difficult. At the camp itself we stayed in unit 8. There was almost no water at all in the river so we did not see any game at all in the riverbed from our cottage. The cottages are definitely in need of an update. There were fans in both rooms, however no air con at all.
The bugs at Biyamiti were the worst of any of the camps on our trip as well.
If I return to Biyamiti it will be in dry season when the viewing is better with reduced brush.More
