Not only are these people doing a great job in saving wildlife that has suffered mostly due to human intervention, they are also very well trained and interested in what they are doing.
You also get a close look at some rare and less rare wildlife ranging from vulture to honey badger to wild dogs.
Go there , it's money well spent

These people are doing an amazing job to rehabilitate animals who have been hurt or injured! The educational talk at the beginning of the tour was excellent - very informative and at the same time, humorous! What was most interesting is that it's not always easy to find places/homes for the animals to be returned back into the wild after rehabilitation and many of them don't survive even when they are returned! The tour around the Centre was really interesting thanks to our guide - it was his first day on the job and he did a brilliant job - thanks! This is definitely a place that is worth visiting!

A great outing for the kids to learn about endangered wildlife. The staff were professional & knowledgeable. Definitely worth a visit when you're in the area.

We saw eagles, vultures, ground hornbill, lions, wild dogs, leopard, cerval, linx, baby rhino, cheetah, baby rhino, amongst other animal. Great job this people is doing. If you're in the Hoedspruit area, definitely stop at this place. It's not a zoo. The animals are all here for specific reasons, and most of them cannot be returned to the wild for various reasons. So, they are used for up-close educational expereinces. Some of the animals you might never see in the wild, or certainly not this close!

You can enter some of the cages for a very personal experience with certain animals. For example, our group went into the vulture area where some of us were selected to hand feed a vulture. This is done by placing a large piece of leather over the person's arm. The vulture then jumps onto the arm to get a piece of meat. It's mazing how heavy they are! In another area, we got to stroke the head of a beautiful bataleur eagle.

The animals are always changing here, so you don't know for sure what you'll see. Gerald is a young giraffe that currently lives there and is free to walk around. He followed our group everywhere as though he was taking the tour as well.

This place is very worthwhile, since it offers an educational experience not found elsewhere.
