they do such good things for the animals.
it is amazing there, they have so much to tell you, and you get to see the animals from very close, you can also feed a vultur and touch some animals.

“Awesome Easter Experience”
Reviewed April 4, 2013

I was staying in the area over the Easter long weekend with a group of friends. We were surprised and happy to hear Moholoholo would be open on Easter Sunday. When we arrived (a little late) and saw the crown of people spilling out the gates, we nearly left there and then. Thank goodness we didn't!
They handled the crowds so well: everyone got a chance to see the animals, hear the stories and touch the various ambassador animals. The crowd was broken up into a number of smaller groups and we barely saw all the other groups for the rest of the time we were there.
We were lucky enough to get photos with a baby rhino, stroke a cheetah and a baby giraffe. There was the option to feed the vultures and pat other birds, but my fear of birds kept me well outside the bird cages. This was my second time visiting, but each time we visit they impress and offer a different experience. Highly recommended!

“Amazing Interaction Experience with the Animals”
Reviewed April 2, 2013

The Moholoholo Rehab centre was a huge eye-opener to what us humans are doing to the earth. The introduction video was informative and the guides were active and had a great sense of humour. The aim of the centre is to assist wild animals who have been attacked, abandoned or injured by farmers and hunters. The centre takes them in, helps them get better and then tries to release them back into the wild, but there are very few success stories of releases as the there is not much wild to go back to. The centre allows you to interact with animals you would never even seen in your life. It's all about awareness and education and well worth a trip for the whole family and kids especially.

“Better than expected”
Reviewed March 26, 2013

This vist was ordered at the last minute. We started with an explanation about the place - done by Oscar - who has a great sense of homour and got us all laughing while talking about seious stuff like poaching. The interaction with the animals was better than expected. The pictures that we took home will be unforgettable.

“A really fascinating place to visit”
Reviewed March 23, 2013

When on holiday in the Hoedspruit area, Moholoholo is an amazing place to visit. Every time we have been there and we have been 3 times now, there have been orphan animals which you are able to get up very close to. The 1st time there was a baby hippo called "Humphrey", the 2nd time there were 2 baby white rhinos and the 3rd time a baby black rhino!! Stroking a cheetah is a fantastic experience and hearing it purr is just lovely. The animals are all in excellent condition and one can get quite close to them to take wonderful photographs. The guides are all very knowledgeable and make the visit really interesting. We will definitely return again and again!
