Had the greatest time! It was brilliant! The food was so cheap as well ordered two meals.

The only thing was that this huge German family stood at the front and got in the way of photos the entire time...very annoying. Just be pushy!

The governor, Brian Jones, gave a rather pessimistic talk on endangered species, but was definitely a wake up call. He emphasised the preilous state of the bird populations.

If you have to choose between HESC and Moholoholo, please go to Moholoholo to avoid disappointment. Our group was big for the afternoon tour, but the introduction was still made personal. Everyone was invited to ask questions and all questions were answered in no rush. The information shared was good. Oscar, our guide, really showed a passion for what he was doing and you could feel he put his heart and soul into wildlife and its conservation. As I enjoy animals being wild, I was quite surprised how many they still have at Moholoholo, but for all animals there was an explanation why they came to Moholoholo and why they are still here. Some were short term residents, others for a longer stretch. We were able to stroke a cheetah and pose for a picture, which felt a bit unnatural, but nevertheless enjoyed it to be able to see a cheetah that close. On the tour we were also surprised by the man who raised Big Boy and them roaring together. I learned later that Big Boy unfortunately had to be put down because he was very ill. Visiting the raptors up close was very cool, and the weight of the vultures on your arm when you feed them very impressive! For us it was a great visit. Personally I also like that they only do 2 tours a day and not every (half)hour. That means the rest of the time the animals can be left alone without tourist interference :).

Fantastic opportunity to get really really close to wildlife. Great photo opportunities. Pet a cheetah!

We spent an afternoon at Moholoholo in December 2012 as part of our safari with Viva Safaris. The opening presentation was most enlightening and made us understand how little wildlife habitat remains in Africa. On the other hand, while we appreciate what Moholoholo is doing for injured wildlife, we thought that the cheetah petting and vulture handling exhibitions cheapened the experience
