Had a very filling lunch, massive burgers and juicy lamb chops. Not all the Mitchells Draught beers were available but still the one I had was very good.

Our first visit in 2013 was excellent but since then service and food went downhill. Cold food. Butter in sauce not even melted. List can go on. They won't be seeing us again.

What a pleasant surprise! My hosts in Centurion took me to this restaurant one mid-week evening as a change from home cooking. And what a change! A big well-cooked steak and three scoops of ice cream served with a choice of several flavours to pour on; and of course the usual lager beer. Certainly a king would be well satisfied with such an offering by the cattle baron.
I was in a party of five, and we met the exceedingly pleasant manageress who obviously has a grip on things.
Car parking was easy and free, a few minutes walk away, and there was an attendant who we duly tipped (this will be obvious to SA residents, but your reviewer from the UK had just landed in Africa for the first time).

This is undoubtedly the best family restaurant in Centurion (or our view anyway) and currently the only restaurant we have been frequenting the past couple of years. Prices across the board are very compatible with other family restaurants, the services is excellent and the quality and preparation of the food can’t be better.

One still receive the old fashioned warm rolls and butter before one's meal. Vegetables are still served as part of most the main courses (unlike most other restaurant where it is optional).

One still get the feeling of the old time type of hospitality one were used to years ago at SPUR, DROS, SADDLES etc. before they seemingly became too big to worry about the customer and/or quality.

To my knowledge, but I stand corrected, no corkage are charged for bringing along one's favorite bottle/s of wine, compared to the exuberant corkage fees charged by some or most other restaurants in the Centurion/Pretoria, even if they don't have the particular wine or beverage in stock.

The owners, Elsa & Tony, still go out of their way to personally meet as many new customers as possible and yet still make the time for a chat with us old customers...... and they know all of us!

One doesn't get the feeling that the staff or management/owners are just waiting for you to finish and leave as they require one's table as is the case in some of the bigger franchises ....... one can still relax and enjoy one's meal here and have a long chat over an extra glass or 2 ...... but be warned.... don't start with Tony about the Bulls/Blou Bulle .... it could become a long evening and you might need more than those 2 extra glasses!

We go to this restaurant often. It has old school charm and the owners involvement in the day to day running is evident in the quality delivered. Go here for great T-bone steaks, ribs and even sushi. Service is friendly and fast. Highly recommended
