Having read mostly bad reviews about the service at this restaurant we decided not to go for breakfast but just go for cheesecake. I spoke to the owner and told her about all the bad reviews before we went and she was very surprised. I told her that everyone had complained about the poor and slow service to which she responded that people come there in order to spend hours there and not just a quick in and out. I told her that people on holiday dont normally want to spend hours in a restaurant as they have more to do than that. Anyway, we decided just to go for cheesecake. I reckon the reason service is slow and poor is that there are really only 2 people serving - a guy who doesnt greet you when you come in and with a bit of an attitude, a young girl and then the owner who doesnt serve but is busy with dishing up. The day we went they were quite crowded and got some of the kitchen staff to clear tables . The food that others had ordered looked very good and large portions but we just had cheesecake and cuppaccino. The nougat cheesecake was unbelievably outstanding and we will go back again before we leave. It was really the best I have ever tasted anywhere in the world in fact. The cuppaccino was lousy - weak and the barrista was obviously not very good. A lot of oldish local people frequent the restaurant and they obviously like to be there for a long time. I would suggest that anyone wanting to eat there because the food did really look good just tells the waiter/waitress that they do not want to spend too long in the restaurant and would like to get their food quickly. Its also a very pretty setting in a forest.
