My friends & I stayed here for a couple of nights at the start of the year. The guest house was very tastefully decorated with lovely gardens. There was a fantastic choice of food on offer for breakfast, the rooms were large and exceptionally clean and the staff including the owners (Des & Johan) were exceptionally friendly.
If we ever get the chance to go to Wilderness again we will be sure to return to Cinnamon!

What a beautiful experience!! Set in wonderful tropical gardens with a lovely pool. The weather was a bit rainy whilst we were there but we were met by Desmond and Johan with towels to dry ourselves off. The luxury room was divine with double aspect balconies and an intoxicating aroma. The honesty bar made one feel totally at home. We only stayed for two nights which was good for our weight as the breakfast was both delicious and huge. We would recommend this guest house to anybody but we're not going to 'cos this is our secret.

Room Tip: All the rooms have been individually colour coordinated. They all look lovely!

I stay at Cinnamon on a monthly basis and rooms are always clean, beautifully decorated and very very spacious. Tranquilly, secure and peaceful gardens.
A garden of Eden.
Breakfast are superb and ultimately the owners make it a "want to come back"
Highly recommended and Five Stars for this guesthouse. Nothing in Paris compares to Cinnamon

Room Tip: The yellow room is fabulous large and has a microwave if you wish to heat something.

This is an exquisite small hotel with only a dozen or so bedrooms, set in amongst tropical gardens. The lobby and lounge furnishings are sumptuous, and the huge bedroom we were in had a blue theme. One great thing was that the WC was in a separate cubicle - very civilised!
The owners, Desmond and Johan, were wonderful hosts and recommended us an excellent local restaurant. Also, when I had accidentally left an important possession behind at the hotel, they kept it safe for me -- a big relief, and a big thank you!
All in all, a great place to stay. We wish it had been longer. Till next time!

Overall my wife and I had a great stay here. The room (a superior one I think it was) was enormous, along with an enormous bathroom. The place was really well presented. The weather the two days we stayed wasn't great so didn't partake of the pool area etc but it looked very well maintained and equipped with loungers etc. Regarding Breakfast, everything that was on offer, which was extensive (great tasting breads!! and try the preserved watermelon!). was delicious and co-host Johan did his best to get us to try it all!! We used it as a base for canoeing and a short walk as in the national park next door. Would recommend for a couple of nights when travelling the garden route.

We wished we could have stayed longer. Central location, yet quietly located away from the buzz, easy walk to restaurants and beach, welcome could not be surpassed, rooms immaculate, relaxing atmosphere, breakfast outstanding. Perfect.

We stayed here on our way along the Garden Route in December & the only disappointment was that it was only for one night. Despite arriving early, we were given a warm welcome, some restaurant recommendations and directions to the beautiful beach which is less than 10 mins walk away. There's a large reception/lounge/dining area/bar which is very cleverly designed and beaufifully decorated. We finished off a perfect day & evening relaxing in the lounge with a drink from the well stocked honesty bar.Our room was lovely with a balcony ovelooking the pool and a huge bathroom. The attention to detail was amazing with all you could possibly want - even a decanter of port! Breakfast didn't disappoint either with a huge buffet selection and a wide choice on the cooked menu. We haven't stopped raving about the Cinnamon ever since we came home and sincerely hope that we can return one day but will make sure we stay for a longer period next time!

Room Tip: Room 8 was lovely with a balcony overlooking the pool
