A great find for lunch, just coffee and desert or an evening dinner. There is seating both up and downstairs and a fairly wide selection of food served in an attentive and pleasant atmosphere. Reasonably priced Flava is a spin off from 'The Girls' restaurant.

Wonderful dining experience. Get the chef to sing for you if you can - he's brilliant. An unexpected but wonderful night. Great food and atmosphere.

My husband ordered belly pork with mash and stir fry veg. The meat had been cooked perfectly, so tender it just melted in his mouth and the plum jus was the best ever. I ordered prawns in a bucket. The food was good but I wasn't keen on the way it was served. Couldn't see the point of it being in a bucket as the waitress took the prawns out as soon as it reached the table. Also the prawns were served on top of the chips on paper and I had to quickly take the prawns off before it made the chips too soggy. However, overall the experience was good and we will definitely be going back

We went here on recommendation but was disappointed overall. The food was good but the service was not. We ordered drinks and food, we had had our drinks way before the food came, there was no offer of sauces etc. when one of us asked for a glass of water it didn't come and so had to ask again. When we asked for the bill that didn't come so we had to go downstairs and ask again. Don't know what it would have been like had they have been busy.
