Description: Pomodoro is the meeting place of the locals and you will always find it buzzing with activity. The outside terraces offer a front row seat of the village activities which, together with the laid-back atmosphere and great food - the perfect place to while away the hours. Owner Claudio will warmly welcome you to this restaurant which they have worked so hard to make the best in the Wilderness. Pomodoro Restaurant is very serious about the quality of the food they serve. The pizzas are possibly the best on the Garden Route and the beautiful salads, antipasto, pastas, grills and seafood never fail to satisfy.

My daughter and I had a fun evening at the Italian Restaurant. We enjoyed our meal and had a very pleasant waitress. We sat outside which was delightful. I had fish was which was very good with root veggies. My daughter had chicken parm-which she thought was great. Overall we enjoy Pomodoro.

Having gone to Pomodoro's for the last 3 years, I feel I am qualified to say that the biggets problem is inconsistency.
The pizza's are always great, but everything else can at times be a let down.
The Lamb shank was amazing the first time, the second time it was obviously not fresh and very dry.
The saltimbocco can be verrry nice, but I have also had it where the crumbs are soggy and the veal, yes veal is tough!?!?

Stick wth the pizzas!

We have been visiting this restaurant for many years and the quality of their Pizza is just fantastic. The forniture is very simple, the staff very young and freindly and the location central (trafic). Very good value for money.

We have visited the restaurant several times over the past few years and found a general deterioration of the ambience and the food.
The Pasta was overcooked, the Balsamico was Red Wine Vinegar and the salad was not fresh.
The waiter subsequently offered "the better" Balsamico Vinegar.
The overlay was covered in food stains. (dirty) and the seat (bench) was full of sand.

The young waiter was apologetic and promised to "write a note" to the manager.

Good food, good service and great vibe... We weren't too sure where to eat and found this buzzing place. Will definitely see us again.
