If you are in the Wilderness area and would like to treat yourself to a extraordinary culinary experience, don't miss this secluded guesthouse with it's fine dining experience. All the members of our party enjoyed the food and kind South African hospitality. I think it offers good value, although dining of this nature does not come cheap. Compliments to the chef!

I have spent many wonderful evenings in this cozy, intimate restaurant. The evening starts with drinks on the patio (I have only been there in the warm summer months), where Rudolph's enthusiastic explanation of the evenings menu gets the evening off to a great start. I have always accompanied a small group and not once has anyone been disappointed by either the friendliness of the service or the fantastic high quality of the food. Over the years I have been visiting Serendipity, Lizelle has proved herself to be an incredibly accomplished, imaginative and passionate chef, who just seems to get better and better. What more do you want? A cozy atmosphere, fantastic food, good value and very friendly staff.
Take your time and enjoy a truly unforgettable culinary experience.

Delecious food - made by award-winning chef - free-range organic food which is very hard to find. Personal service and very knowledgeable about the unique dishes

We were visiting Wilderness on our Garden Route holiday a few years ago, before Trip Advisor was on my radar. I am leaving a review now because it is a MUST VISIT restaurant for anyone wanting to have a treat, it is worth having to have a couple of chip sarnies during your holiday to splash out on a meal at the Serendipity. Lovely setting, Lovely hosts, great storytelling and amazing fab fab food. Please if you do one thing on your holiday that you will never forget, visit this place.

An absolute star restaurant in the beautiful location of Wilderness. Very unassuming from the outside, but a wonderful friendly welcome, excellent explanation of the menu followed by wonderful food. Run by a couple who are clearly passionate about quality ingredients, great flavours and inspired combinations. A real find and our best meal on the garden route.
