We were lucky enough to eat here on a couple of occasions when we stayed in Wilderness for a week this February. Slightly quirky this is a place for good food, good drink and reasonable charges!
The steaks were heaven and the ostrich amazing. Go along and be more than satisfied!

On a long drive this was a delicious stop. Found the restaurant by pure luck and even more lucky to get a table. Quickly after we sat even on a Wednesday night four different couples were turned away. Staff are very friendly and helpful about the menus, explaining the origin and best ways of cooking the seafood ect. Would highly recommend the seafood platter? most tender calamari ever. Desserts are also delicious. Great find.

Don't be put off by the location, next to a petrol station. The food is divine, we ordered big plates of prawns which were delicious, you can choose different sauces/spices to have on your prawns and the wine selection is also perfect, great brandy too! The service was very very good, everyone there is very welcoming and chatty. Thanks for a great evening.

Wilderness is a small village that "punches above its weight" when it comes to restaurants. The Girls is rightfully rated as one of its top eateries. We dined there on a Tuesday evening and it was packed. We pre-booked their shuttle transport (at 50 rand per couple return) which is available to customers staying in the Wilderness area.
The restaurant has a friendly informal atmosphere. The food is delicious and the service friendly and efficient. My wife's grilled hake main course was particularly good. Two starters, two main courses and a good bottle of wine cost just 700 rand (including gratuity and the shuttle transfer) which is very good value.
One suggestion, why not open up the kitchen to the view of diners? I think it would give a more open-plan feel to the dining room.

Attached to the petrol station but don't be put off. You will be surprised as soon as you enter. The food and the service was exceptional.
