“So good we ate here three times!!”
Reviewed January 22, 2013

We are not the kinds of couple who if we find a gem on holiday we will go again and again. We like variety and diversity. However, The Girls was the kind of gem that you dream of. Thoughtful, well cooked fare is what The Girls is all about. North African, seafood, fusion in abundance. Not only is the menu a pleasure, the personal touch of the chef meeting/greeting and even serving the delights is an added touch that makes The Girls stand out. The prices for the creations are superb value for the quality and taste sensations that are crafted. The non-pretentious dining experience is just wonderful. Great service, incredible food and wonderful company, my wife and I had several memorable evenings here. Do not be put off by the location (behind the gas station). This is African food at its best. I personally feel, The Girls is worth a trip on its own.

“Great place in Wilderness -The Girls”
Reviewed January 19, 2013 via mobile

We first visited The Girls a number of years ago - they opened in 2007. It was good then and just as good today. The chef personally comes round to each table - the waitress was very friendly and effecient and our curries were lovely. Desserts also very good and the ambience is welcoming. They have won a number of awards and well-deserved. The prices are reasonable which is great - so many restaurants over-charge for mediocre food. Well worth a visit if you are in the Wilderness area.

“Fun, yummy and casual”
Reviewed January 17, 2013

This funky restaurant behind a gas station was a pleasant surprise! Very fresh fish (we ordered the trio), nice wine by the glass, and a friendly waiter. The owner/chef came out to talk to us at the end which is always a good sign. The menu is interesting and the decor is cozy.

Loved the atmosphere. Great menu selection. You need to be prepared to take your time between courses, but that was no problem for us as we were there for the evening.

“Great food, slow service”

Best restaurant in town but be prepared to wait. Enjoy the shop where you can buy African artifacts.
