Description: Upmarket venue for that special dinner, tasteful decor with well trained waitrons. Suggest that reservation is made as I have been there on week nights and always well supported.

We ate here on our first night In SA and they set the bar very high! Fantastic steaks in particular, but all the food was superb. Very good service, lovely decor and ambience, thoroughly recommended.

A great restaurant with a really good menu, staff are really very professional and look after you all the way through your meal. A platter of all the beef is brought to your table and explained about the meat it's tenderness how it will be cooked and what cut it is, there are other items on the menu as well ranging from Beef, poultry, fish and game, didn't see much veggie options though although wasn't really looking for them. Wines were fully explained kept well in a managed temperature cellar. We could only manage two courses some starters and main others main and sweet with wine and other drinks the cost was very reasonable.

Little Havana in Umhlanga Rocks has a lot going for it - great position, knowledgeable and friendly staff, an excellent wine cellar and very good food. The tables are well set out with wonderfully crisp white table cloths and we had one at the window - just right on a warm Natal evening.
My guest and I shared the Duck Spring Rolls and Cuban Chicken Livers and they were both delicious. Our mains consisted of the 200g Sirloin with some nice and spicy peri peri sauce and the 300g Sirloin Bernaise. Both the steaks were done medium and were juicy and tender.
Other dishes which passed our table and looked worth a try were the Rump steak and a mouthwatering plate of Calamari peri peri.
The wine list has some good South African wines including a number of excellent reds from Hartenberg and the delicious Springfield Life from Stone Sauvignon Blanc from the Robertson area.
After a long evening of good dining, we could not find room for desserts - such a pity.
That will have to wait for another visit.
It was a very good night out and the restaurant deserves the good reviews it gets.

A regular spot that caters for all tastes. Seafood, steaks all very yummy and well prepared. Even vegetarians are catered for with the best macaroni cheese I have tasted - ok I did not order it. Wine list is extensive and service always great.

Couldn't resist trying this restaurant after reading all the glowing reviews. Most disappointed with our meals -my sirloin steak was not very soft and pretty average. My friend had the chicken which was a bit lack lustre .The coffee tasted more like instant than filter / brewed coffee. Wouldn't recommend this restaurant
