“Peaceful haven at the end of trip”

Cant agree more with the other reviewers. Great place for stop off. Everything clean, well maintained, and well thought out. Hosts friendly and helpful-such a contrast to some of the surly receptions we got elsewhere. After 2 weeks camping elsewhere, we spoilt ourselves for our last night and took a lodge and ordered food, which was good, if a little basic. Would definitely choose this as a stop-over for the gamepark

Amazing destination for a one night stay, a restful vacation and/or family holiday.
Bushbaby Lodge is not only perfectly located (30minutes from Hluhluwe/Umfolozi Game Reserve) but also unique & comfortable.
Pim & Thandi were very welcoming and accommodating - despite our short notice, they were able to upgrade us to a chalet!
The resort was full and apart from the frogs, no noise could be heard :)
I would absolutely recommend everyone to stay at the Bushbaby Lodge & Campsite, if not for a week, at least for a night.

What a treat. We stayed here at the end of our South African trip and loved the relaxing atmosphere and the hospitality. The feeding of the bushbabys just after dark was an added treat. The accommodations in the non self contained chalets was comfortable and we loved being able to sit on the little veranda while listening to the nights sounds. We would definitely return and recommend.

Pim and Tandi, owners, are tremendous hostes, one leaves with them as new found freinds. I use Bushbaby Lodge as my base every six weeks and I feel more like I am on holiday than working. The Chalets are clean and well appointed with en-suit bathrooms and a flat screen TV with DSTV chanels. A veranda overlooks the waterhole where game come to drink early in the morning, if you miss them you can go on a walk around the property to find them. The camp sites are all clean with electrical power points and more than ample shade, there are clean ablutions and a kithchen. The sparkling swimming pool is set in a tropical garden and a lovely bar in the thatch roof above the main building. In the evenings one can get up close to the Bushbabies when they are fed at 7pm. If you are in Hluhluwe put this lodge as number one on your list. I promise once you have been there you will be back, I meet so many people who return time and time again.

Room Tip: Rooms 9 to 17 overlook the water hole. Rooms 1 to 8 don't have en-suit bathrooms or TV's, h...
