“Average Thai food”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 25, 2013

Had lunch here on Sunday. Haute starter Thai platter. Lovely spring rolls and really nice peanut sauce. Didn't really like the satay. Also had some salmon roses, salmon was amazingly fresh and lovely. For mains, we tried the some fish green curry and glands noodle salad. Not a very flavorful curry and he fish tasted like it was fried separately. The salad was mediocre and rather tasteless.

“Good but pricy Thai dishes”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 27, 2013

Had lunch there last week. We tried the vegetarian and duck as main options and platter for a starter. The spring rolls were quite tasty. Veg dish was great and duck a bit salty but on the whole not bad. Not a big restaurant but the owner was around and seemed to get into conversations with patrons. Only downside was that the waiter seemed to forget us when he was busy with the other table but was still friendly.

“Enoyable and varied Asian fare”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 29, 2013

A good lunch-time venue for Japanese and other Asian dishes, both hot and cold. Our choices of sushi, vegetable tempura, beef teriyaki and a spicy Thai beef salad were all good, with the salad a standout dish consisting of tender beef, gently stir fried, with fresh, crispy salad ingredients and a sweet and fiery sauce. The restaurant itself is small, unpretentious and overlooks the Avonmore centre car park, but the attentive service and quality fare more than makes up for this. The interesting and varied menu makes it hard to choose and will keep you coming back for more.

“Ok sushi / thai restaurant”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 19, 2013

In a corner of a parking lot you will find The Green Mango. A thai / japanese / sushi restaurant. The quality of the food is ok and they will serve you the right quantity. The quality of the sushi is also ok but the the choice is not that big in different types. If you can't find a spot in the restaurant you get a perfect view of the parking lot.

We visited the restaurant early in the evening so we had a parking spot. If you're later you have to park your car outside the parking lot without any protection. Just to now.

“I don't do Sushi, my date loves it. Green Mango kept us both happy”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 4, 2013

tucked away in the corner, not many people that I know are aware Green Mango exists. service was attentive & the food was of a decent standard. If you like sushi, you will be happy. I am not a fan of it & the alternatives were average, hence the rating.
