We recommend Phezulu and the Valley of 1000 Hills to overseas guests that have only a short trip to Durban. The Zulu Dancing, and culture is what they have enjoyed the most. 10 out of 10.
The snake park and crocodile also adds to their experience in South Africa. The restaurant
offers some traditional meals which is excellent!!
I enjoy the trip myself and take my family there for the experience.

We travelled out from Umhlanga Rocks into the Valley of a 1000 Hills - amazingly beautiful even on a dull day - we arrived at Phezulu & booked for the Zulu dancing & the tour of the crocodile & snake park - while waiting for the dancing we enjoyed a drink at the restaurant - the food looked interesting - good to know for a future visit - we were shown around the beehive shaped huts & aspects of the Zulu way of life were explained in a humorous way by Patrick - he took us down to the dance area - the backdrop a breathtaking view of the Valley - he explained the story of a young man from his declaration of love to his marriage & the dancers showed great skill & enthusiasm as the story unfolded - we were then shown around the crocodiles & snakes by Courtney who displayed sound knowledge in an amusing way - all in all a good visit ...

What an experience getting up and close with nature and the animals roaming freely no care in the world not even scared of the 4x4's driving past them they came up so close so we could take beautiful pictures. The tour guide was experienced and gave us alot of useful info and made our game drive even more memorable. i will definitely go and visit again. and will recommend to my family and friends.
