The Big Swing is a great thing to do if you enjoy a rush of adrenaline! Although the walk/climb up to the jump platform is pretty long and tedious, the end result is so worth it!

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The price wasn't too bad either. Another cool thing is that they let your friends or family etc actually go into the stadium to sit and watch you jump!

I would highly recommend this!

This was terrifying, but the staff are great and post-jump you feel pretty awesome. Definitely would recommend it.

My 9 years old was so happy and excited to do the big rush. We went inside the stadium and watched him jump. It did take long for him to be seen in the air but it was so difficult to catch him on video because it happens so fast!

On 29 Dec 2013 I needed an adrenalin fix and was referred to the swing bunjy jump off the cross arch at the world cup soccer stadium. Having previously done tandem paragliding off Lion's Head, tandem parachute jump from 8,000 feet, bungy jump off Auckland bridge and line base jump off the Sky Tower in Auckland I can honestly say this was equal to or better. 88m drop and 220m swing arc says it all, as does the Guiness Book of Records.
It was quite scary (and thus added to the thrill) to climb down from the arch onto the narrow exposed cross-ledge 92m above the stadium and knowing it was solid ground below rather than water which you get in most bungy jumps.
Also, unlike with vertical bungy jumping where the rope is slack befoe you jump, in this experience you get the additional adrenalin scare of having the rope automatically pulling against you while you wait to jump - quite a fearful rush.
If you're not fit, then be prepared for the fact that you have to walk over 250 steps up the arch to get to the jump, no stopping...that in itself is a good workout. Overall a great experience, but it was disappointing that no still photos are produced of the experience, unlike with other experiences. Bu they do produce a nice personal video for sale.

We did the swing mid afternoon. While the climb up the stairs was a tough slog, the view from the top was worth it and the swing itself is amazing. More of a rush than bungee jumping in my opinion due to the setting and the closeness of the stadium. Whilst not the most professional of service, we felt safe at all times. A must for any adrenaline junker!
