Went to the African Peninsula Restaurant on Saturday evening for dinner and was impressed with the food and the service, the waiters were friendly and helpful even though they were really busy ( had a party of about 24 people to serve also, amongst others). The wait for our meal was not overly long, and the food portions were big enough for a hungry person. The butternut soup that I ordered was creamy, smooth and warm, ideal for a cool evening.
I was so impressed that I went back for breakfast and loved it even more, still very busy but waiters were courteous and welcoming. Only downside was the tasteless and very small glass of juice. Breakfast was made to order and so you get exactly what you want, perfect for me. Milkshakes brought back happy memories of childhood, as they tasted like the old fashioned Clover brand that we bought in glass bottles when we were children.
Two pods of dolphins swimming by added to the already incredible view that the African Peninsula Restaurant has to offer.
I was impressed by the clean areas that this establishment has to offer from the car park, down all the walk ways right onto the deck. The walkway area at night is lit enough to create a feeling of a warm welcome.
Loved it and can't wait to go back again!!!!!
