To be fair, Eskom cut power to this area for the day. Apperently, also to the gentleman manning the curio shop. It required significant effort to solicit any kind of response from him and one will be forgiven for thinking that life owed him an apology.
To be fair, the gentleman stationed at the adventure station, was rather informative - almost educational about the area. He, along with the waitress serving coffee from a gas fired stove made up for any general power failure in the area.
If you are heading out that way for any of the adventure offerings on offer, elect beforehand to persevere through interim roadworks and, of course, the elderly getleman at the curio shop .
