I have visited the Berg many, many times. you can camp, stay in Parks Board Chalets, B and B's, guest farms or hotels. There is golf, tennis, bowls, swimming in mountain streams or swimming pools, horse and pony riding, walking, hiking, mountain climbing, pony trekking, 4X4 trails, a visit up to the highest pub in Southern Africa at the top of Sani Pass......too much to mention. Go there, experience the beauty of the unspoit Mountains for yourself

We were guided along and up through the Ndedema Gorge with expertise and patience to a shelter that houses some of South Africa's most fascinating San rock art. Our two guides, Absalom and Joel were knowledgeable about the fauna and flora of the National Park. The two rivers we had to forge were running high and fast and Absalom and Joel were particularly well able to assist our crossings. The scenery is stunning and although the climb to the shelter required some endurance, it was certainly well worth it. The rock art was beautiful and mysterious. The view from the cave was wonderful and we sat for ages as perhaps the San had done so many years before us looking out over the valleys watching and noting the changing weather and contemplating what was to come. It was an unforgettable experience. Thank you to our wonderful guides.

IThe Drakensberg is one of the most beautiful places I have ever been to!!! We booked 3 day hiking trip with a company called Soul Adventures. They organise everything. We sopent 3 days hiking to the top of a mountain called Champagne castle. The veiws were just crazy. Our guide for the trip was the owner of the company, Darren. He was absolutley amazing!! His knowledge of the mountains as well as his sense of humour was really encouraging. Everythingb was organized. All we had to do was concentrate on the hiking. Than kyiou darren for an unforgettable experiene. Your words of wisdom and humour is going to be sorely missed.

We drove up to Cathedral Peak a lovely drive a reserve at the top we saw a troop of baboons apparently there are loads of elands up there. The hotel at the top is lovely, lots of small children trying to beg on route some looked vey poor. Views well worth the drive

Thank you SO much to Soul Adventures for an absolutely mindblowing hike!! There were moments that were breathtaking (literally and figuratively) and moments that pushed me beyond all self-imposed limits. I went to places in my mind where I never thought I could…Your team was great. Darren was good fun and the support staff were warm and supportive in everything they did. We couldn’t have done it without them.
