Yes the decor is absolutely brilliant and it is worth the visit just for that. Also the service was exceptionally good. So i gave it a very good rating - but the food is only average.

This is right on route 66 and the railway runs right by it. It is a 50's style diner with booths and bar stools (no liquor served however). Food is typical burger, sandwiches with root beer floats and shakes, but it is nicely presented and reasonable with pleasant, cheerful service. Good choice for people with children and teenagers.

Part of a Harley Davidson based Tour to raise money for UK Military Charities, Our stop here was well recommended. Traditional burger washed down with root beer and coffee, and if you have room, a milkshake too. Well worth a visit as the interior is pure fifties, and oozes charm.

I had read the reviews on Mr. D'z...the good and the bad and decided my family needed to try this little diner...it was wonderful! Everyone was so friendly...the chicken fried steak was cooked perfectly (and was fork tender...no need for a steak knife), the gravy was flavorful and not too salty, hash towns were cooked crisp....definitely going to stop again before we leave town!
