We stayed at Econo Lodge for only one night. The room was spacious, with very good working air-conditioning. It was clean and the bed was comfortable.
In the hot environment of Arizona, the swimming pool was a very big plus.
The owner/manager was very friendly and helpful.

I would definitely recommend Econo Lodge for a stay in Kingman!

We stayed at Econolodge Kingman one night in July 2013 on our way to the Grand Canyon. A very pleasant experience, the room was clean and had all the basic amenities for a comfortable stay. The highpoint were the owners, Mr. & Mrs. Patel. They were extremely helpful and accommodating and gave us valuable suggestions about what to do and how to plan our day in the Grand Canyon so that we could optimise our time and get the best tours for our money.

On our way back to Las Vegas from touring Utah canyons we needed a place for the night. Lots of options on the same strip. This one was good- they helped us fix my online reservation - I'd chosen the wrong night. Got a tour of their organic vegetable garden and bounty of fresh veggies.A clean room. Cheap. Attentive owners. If you have to stay in Kingman for the night, this place works.

Four weeks on the road gave us a lot of experience in lodging. Being on the budget side, Econo Lodge in Kingman was a pleasant experience. Rooms were clean, standard equipped, air conditioning working and the staff was very helpful. The internet line was slow, but working. We had all our clothes washed here. The coffee in the morning were among the best we had, almost European, and gave us a very nice start of the day. If you are on a budget tour, this is definitely the place to stop.

Good value accommodation in Kingman. My son and I stopped there after a hiking trip to the Grand Canyon. We shared a room with twin queenbeds, costing circa $55 including taxes and a basic breakfast. The room was clean and had air-conditioning. I was satisfied with the accommodation and the staff was helpful. The hotel manager also recommended a steakhouse which was good and where I received a 10% discount.
The hotel is one of a number of similarly priced budget hotels on the street. One word of warning and it no reflection on the quality of this particular hotel's accommodation, it is probably the same for all of the hotels on this street. Where the hotel is located is adjacent to a busy railway line. Trains run throughout the night and for some crazy reason the train drivers sound their horns on a regular basis. This may be regarded as quite 'charming' and add to the American Western atmosphere during the day, but in the middle of the night when the 'charming melody' is easily heard in the room?
However on a positive note, the air-conditioning unit, which needs to be run to keep the room at a reasonable temperature, is noisy and tends to drown out the noise of the train horns. Actually, it's not so bad, as one becomes used to the regular noise of the air-conditioning, the train horns become more of a background noise.
Overall, I was satisfied with the price and standard of accommodation and feel it was good value. I would consider using the hotel again.

Room Tip: Ask for rooms away from the train line
