This museum has 1 of 3 original Presidents portraits in the country which are absolutely amazing. Seeing the 1st lady just adds to the heritage of our country. It also has so much local history & continues to add to this. They have several events every year that are informative and free to the public. Living locally I go often and really enjoy the special history /connection to the past and how it has has evolved to today. Don’t miss seeing this special place on Route 66

Beautiful museum. A must stop and see if you're passing thru. Andy Devine memorabilia room and they have a little theater that shows old Roy Rogers and other movies that Andy was in. So wonderful. Maps of owners of ranches in the area and their branding irons for the cattle. So much history and stuff to see. Take s couple hours to enjoy it all plus the films.

Andy Devine is from Kingman, AZ, so the museum has an exhibit dedicated to him. Even show Roy Rogers movies thru the day.

A lot of Native American history was included in the museum - we found this to be very interesting.

Love taking family friends and visitors to this awesome little museum. It tells the local story in an easy unassuming way.

Very good way to spend 2 hours. Lots of local history, some that some folks might want to forget, but facts are niether good nor bad, they just are,. They have a little theatre that was playing "The man who shot liberty valance". It would have been a good way to spend a few hours if it had been hot outside.
