Absolutely loved this little gem of a museum. It's small but it's packed full of wonderfully put together exhibits on everything from native people to Andy Devine to mining to Old West to local wildlife. I was so impressed at the attention to detail. I took my husband, my father, and my 4 year old son and we all loved it! It is very small but totally worth spending an hour or so checking out the exhibits. And when you purchase entry to this museum the ticket includes the Powerhouse Route 66 Museum and the Bonelli House.

This small museum was wonderful ! It told of Mojave County and how it was influenced by the Hualapai Indians, mining, the railroad, ranching, the military and the building of Boulder Dam. For you movie buffs, there was also a section devoted to Kingman's native son Andy Devine!!!! We allowed ourselves an hour and a half. It was not enough time to enjoy all the museum had to offer.

We so enjoyed our two hours at the Mohave Museum of History, easy to maneuver about, excellent displays and exhibits. So glad we took the advice of others and set aside a day to visit the Kingman museums. The quilt, upon entering, is worth the visit. Take a good look at it. Eating at Cracker Barrel was a plus!!

If you don't know anything about this area, try this museum that has several sites. The main building houses portraits of every U.S. President and the First Ladies. Exhibits related to the Native Americans are plentiful along with a special display of Andy Devine. Special recognition to Native Americans who served in wars is well done. We will return to view the other historical sites.

Nice museum of western lore and artifacts. The layout was logical, enjoyed the great presidents and wives portraits. Very worthwhile visit.
