SpringHill Suites Kingman Route 66
Ranked #6 of 28 Hotels in Kingman

There's not much in Kingman. It's the place you stop overnight on your way to or from California. Most hotels cater to this, and offer minimal lodging and amenities.

Springhill was therefore a pleasant surprise. It's recently built, very clean, with sizable rooms, good beds and linens, and plenty of quiet. When you walk in, you might just expect to see Marty McFly running around---the place was clearly decorated by the dance committee from the Enchantment Under the Sea dance. Funky can be fun, though.

The bathrooms are done European style (separate shower and toilet), which our family of 5 appreciated. I wish more hotels would take this approach.

The free breakfast includes your basic Froot Loops dispenser and do-it-yourself waffles, but I found the drink and food options to be a step above most bargain fare.

All in all, a fantastic hotel. We'll definitely be staying there again on our next trip to CA.

We were traveling from Anaheim to Pagosa Springs, and needed a place to stay. Marriott to the rescue - we spent a night at the SpringHill Suites Kingman /Route 66. We arrived late - by we greeted with a friendly smile of welcome, and the room was large and comfortable. The design was very european - many colors, textures, and very modern and inviting. The wi-fi was great, the toilet separated from the bathroom was convenient, and the sliding doors were great space savers. The room would sleep 4 with a king bed and a couch bed, and there was separation between the living spaces by the desk setup. The included breakfast was a fine spread of oatmeal, 2 fruits, yogurt, self made waffles, hard boiled and scrambled eggs, sausage, 4 cereals, and 4 juices, bagels and danish pastries. Heavy on the carbs - but included in the $94.00 price. Based on my experience, I would definitely stay here again. PROS - price, service, amenities. CONS - the floors and walls transmitted more noise than I am used to in a Marriott hotel.

Room Tip: We liked the upper floors because of the noise factor. Floors and walls transmitted neighbors noise...

Great experience--from the moment I walked in I was pleased. The price was excellent, the room was modern and clean, the fact that it was a pseudo-suite gave us more space, and the free breakfast was a plus. I would recommend it!

After a drive from death valley it was nice to have a clean nice smelling hotel room. Big bed and plenty of space in the room. Good for the money.

Breakfast was nice.

A good stay while passing through.

These Springhill Suites by Marriott are fantastic and the best hotel we've ever stayed in for the price they charge.

They really are suites, we had two queen beds with a separate lounge area, kitchen facilities including a microwave, coffee machine and refrigerator. There was a desk area with high speed internet, yes, it was high speed!
It's a cab ride (about $10) away from Kingman town centre but only a minute from the I40 interstate but even so it was very quiet you could hear the faint sound of the massive two mile long freight trains that run through the town which we loved.

The hotel is very clean and seems very new. Opposite there is a service station if you need anything and a sonic burger across the street, we were lucky enough to be there when a few local classic cars decided to park up outside sonic burger so if you are into that then it's very cool.

The Laundry was a great help as we were on a road trip so managed to get a full bag of washing done and dried for under $4, excellent!

This was the cheapest we paid for a hotel on our trip, around £80 and it put a few of the more expensive places we stayed at to shame.

The breakfast is ok, the eggs tasted like they were powdered, but i wont complain for the price we paid, we loaded up on toasted bagels, cereal, juice and cwaffee and that set us up for the road.

Cant recommend highly enough, we will definitely look out for this chain when we go back to the States.

An excellent location to stop on the way with the utmost comfort. Slightly overpriced compared to the area, but a nice, clean, well kept, highly modern motel. The real problem is finding somewhere good to eat dinner...

Road weary, I had the good fortune to stop here. I did not have a reservation, but I did get a great new room and night's sleep. This place has caring employees who help you with a decent price and good breakfast. I would come back here in a heartbeat and am now very glad that my reservations elsewhere were messed up because this hotel was so much better.

Room Tip: For a discount, I got the room next to the breakfast room, but experienced no inconvenience.
