After 3 weeks in Argentina and more steaks that was probaly good for me, we visited this enigmatic restaurant to have rib eye steak! And to judge it against the best of Argentina which was stll fresh in our memories.
Firstly the restaurant was excellent: good and friendly service! The wine list was extensive and reasonable.
Then the rib eye steak: it was ordered rare without any sauce or basting. It was done perfectly: juicy, tender and rare. Nothing to find fault with.
But the tast of the meat did not compare! It was like comparing Karroo lamb with feed lot mutton: just not the same!
In the final analysis I can recommend the restaurant and the rib eye as well but I shall remember the Patagonian Ojo de Bife for a long time!
