The Oasis Boutique Hotel

Certificate of Excellence

I have stayed with Grayham and Anita several times for up to 7 weeks and now all of my colleagues stay there as well. I really do not want to stay anywhere else when in Joburg and the surrounding area.
This is a homely place with high standards making it relaxing and informal with friendly staff who keep everything in excellent order.
A drive up Rivonia will provide you all the restaurants you need with Sandton Square about 10 minutes away for all the shops you need.
Go and enjoy.
Just leave room for me please..

Thank you for the referrals, your company has become a firm favourite with both Grayham and I. Surely you are due for another visit or is everything still “on track”!?

The Oasis Guest House makes a solo work trip to Johannesburg a pleasure.
The rooms are immaculate with great attention to every detail.
Service is second to none and nothing is too big a problem for Grayham and Anita.

I highly recommend the Oasis Guest House as a must when travelling. The geust house lives up to it's name, it has the most beautiful garden setting, interior decoration and quality linnen all outstanding. It also has a feel of Africa, when relaxing in the lapa where you can order a real South African Braai/barbaque on a hot summers night. I have often stayed at this establishment and not once have I had a bad experience, they consistantly exceed by expectations.
It is central to the business hubb, the meals are good and has the most up to date facilities you need when travelling. Over and above that I feel very safe.
Well done Anita and Graham for making travelling and a stay such a pleasure.
Regards
Lizette Anderson

Oasis manages to get it just right. It is the perfect guesthouse for business travellers with its location, efficient service, free internet access, various spaces on the property where you can work quietly, and dinner if you want to stay in.
BUT it also feels homely, with unobtrusive pets, a swimming pool, and spaces in which to receive and entertain guests. Small touches such as snacks put out in the evening, chocolates and fruit in your room, and a small gift when you leave lifts it into the 'luxury' category. Although my comments are aimed at business travellers, the guest house is also the perfect setting for a relaxed weekend.
I have stayed in many guest houses during the last couple of years, and Oasis is my first choice of guest house in Johannesburg.

We spent two nights here on our way to the Kruger NP. and one on the way back. We were made very welcome by the owners Graham and Anita. The room we stayed in was luxurious and every whim was catered for, infact it was so comfortable we didn't want to leave. The staff were curtious and helpful. There is a notional menu for an evening meal but there are plenty restaurants close by with delivery options if required; but it is worth being hungry for the amazing breakfast where we were spoilt for choice. Excellent choice.

Few trips to joburg for business and I tried some guest house. This one is far the best I have found. Everything went as well as it could have been. Makes you really fill at home. The owners are very kind and I will with pleasure remind my first night when we begin a world tour of liquors and wine. Place is ideally located for people having meetings in Centurion or midrand because you are against traffic. I will come back to joburg and I know that I will not have to look for another place.

I could not have had a more comfortable and pleasurable stay. The owners are very kind, interesting and helpful; breakfasts and suppers were excellent and plentiful; and I loved the art and decor throughout. A safe area with good bars and restaurants closeby, and nice to be able to relax in the garden by the pool.
