A fine and cheap place around Pretoria. Perfect location for a first night in South Africa, avoiding Johannesburg. Staff is friendly, breakfast is good. Secured parking area. If you arrive late and want to have a meal: let them know.

Lovely little guesthouse in Northern Pretoria. Very affordable and the breakfast was superb. The pool was a nice temperature. The rooms were just a bit warm due to the absence of an A/C. The ceiling fan had to work extra hard :). The bathroom was in serious need of a paint job as it was peeling.
Over all I do not have complaints due to the fact that we paid a ridiculous amount for the night's stay over.

Very nice guest house in a quiet suburb of Pretoria. Area was quiet and seems safe. Guest house was booked out during our stay, yet they catered for us at 110% service level.
Bedroom had double bed and single bed in, with nice big bathroom with bath and hand held shower. Coffee making facilities in room, with big TV with full DSTV bouquet. Also free Wi-Fi available.
Breakfast is included in the price of your stay. Everything from sausage and eggs to Muesli and fruit in the dining area. Was really enjoyable.
Big lounge area where you can also watch TV or just sit and read.
Nice size swimming pool.
More than enough safe parking on the premises.
The owner is the best of ALL! He was driving us around at all hours of the day and night - always with a smile - never once complained.
I will recommend this guest house to anyone wanting to stay in Pretoria.

Room Tip: Rooms on the parking side, get nice sun in the mornings.

This is an out-of-place place, to be sure.

It is located in Pretoria's northern suburbs, just over the big, undeveloped hill that separates them from Pretoria proper. Set on a back street in a pretty and quiet residential neighborhood is this sort of mini-apartment-like building/house - it's hard to say exactly what it is!

There are 14 guest rooms in the building with glass sliding doors for entrances. If you've been to South Africa before, you know how unusual this in such a security-conscious country. However, you are in a safe neighborhood and behind iron gates which with controlled access.

Almost like an over-sized home, the place has a wonderful 'lobby' which is more like a living room with couches and tv and then there's a fairly large dining room (for a house) where breakfast is served. It's very homey and suburban.

The rooms are good. Satellite tv, coffee maker, the general stuff you'd need are all there.

Parking in free onsite and wifi is free too.

This is not a luxurious place and neither is it a backpacker spot. It seems to attract South Africans from around the country of all races and seems not to be full that often. It ought to be full given the low price and what you get for it.

It's like, I guess, an OK to good guest house/b&b. It's not luxurious but neither is it rundown or worn. I liked it and would stay again.

The downside is that is you don't have a car, you're not going to want to stay here. There are things around within a 20 minute walk but not much. You can catch a minibus taxi a few blocks away but that's not really an effective method of transport.

Other than that, it's a great place. Give it a try - easily half or less than what you'd pay for similar.

Room Tip: They seem all to be the same.
