“France in the hart of Pretoria”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 10, 2014

I simply love this little French restaurant, tucked away in the corner of the Greenlyn Centre. We stopped by for breakfast and were surprised by the wide variety of new dishes available on the menu. The food here is different, fresh and delicious. We can never decide where we want to sit, in the beautiful garden or inside with wonderful French music playing in the background, great atmosphere either way. Service could be a bit faster but the staff are very friendly and helpful. They have quite a big selection of cakes available, and their chocolate tart/cake (made without flour) is simply amazing. Well worth a visit.

“Fabulous French ”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 22, 2014 via mobile

We visited L'Epis Dore on the public holiday. An exciting new menu but disappointing that some of the offerings were not yet available. Service a tad slow and the waitress needs to brush up on the menu. Will definitely go back though for another try. Food was delicious and beautifully presented.

“Bit more French, please”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 13, 2014 via mobile

Food was ok, setting lovely, service mediocre. Need more french favourites on menu instead of "the Italian". Cheese platter was delicious but a bit expensive for what was deliverd.

“A French country feel in Pretoria”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 14, 2013

What a lovely garden setting with fresh lavender & surrounded by olive trees. The limited but well chosen wine list is well suited to the real country style French food - really refreshing. The cheese platter is a must & the seasonal menu with the fresh kabeljou is amazing! Well priced & lovely safe garden for the dogs & kids!
