Great Food - I had chicken and calamari combo, with the coconut lime and chilli - served with coconut rice and a side dish of vegetables. Bo had a basted fillet steak and a salad - we shared, and both of us couldn't quite finish the meals, but it was absolutely fantastic!

Great Service - special thank you to Mandla, and the other runners that we're assisting you. You guys we're very friendly, helpful and professional. Thank you to the Barmen, who specially made me a Virgin Caipirinha, in a tall glass with lots of ice, topped with Sparking Water - it was awesome!

Would suggest this Restaurant to anyone that Enjoys Mozambican Cuisine. The menu does have enough to suit most taste-buds.

Myself (Larry Jones) and two friends went for a meal tonight and had a wonderfull time.
Thandy the server was helpfull, friendly and went the extral mile to ensure our evening was comfortable as well as enjoyable.
Charlie along withhis staff welcomed us as old friends although it was our first (but not last) visit.
I shall spend my birthday there on the 8th April 2014 65 years of age.

We have been the 6 of us for an evening meal. First thing I appreciated was the secure parking area. Entering the restaurant it was not what I was expecting - it's huuuuuuge! I thought it might be a bit cozier but I haven't had any problems with that. The service was funny and attentive (writing his name on the the paper table cloth ;-)). A nice plus are the complimentary peanuts on the table and if you want to have some more ... no problems!

We all loved the food and it was the first time in South Africa that I haven't had to add some chillies even though it's written on the menu "spicy/hot". Beautifully spiced and the fish was very nicely cooked. Overall a nice experience.

The only thing was that we were struggling to have a decent conversation with the "other end" of the table. The noise from chatting/laughing people is very high! Wouldn't go for a romantic dinner though ;-). But certainly will go back for the lovely food and try to get a table outside.

We have visited Mozambik quite a few times now. The first time was absolutely amazing. Subsequent visits have been disappointing.

Last two times, the Mozambik Style Rump was dry and tough. Waiters seem to try so hard to be cool that they mess up the orders.

Primary complaint against the place is that the last two times we went, the waiters made "mistakes" which resulted in higher bills. Most recent example was my wife ordering a Zambiziana Hake. The sauce disguises what is actually on the plate, and when the bill came the waiter billed us for a Zambiziana linefish (which costs R30 more) and claims that's what he brought.

Previously, we ordered a jug of R&R for the table from the menu. We where impressed with the quantity compared to the price, only to realise when the bill came that the waiter had brought us the Extra large jug (not on the Menu) Which costs 3x as much.

The Mozambik in Balito is much better. We might give this one one more chance, but with all the great dining options in Pretoria, i don't need to support dishonest businesses.
