This is a well-maintained beautiful park with a comprehensive array of local plants. It is at the foot of Table Mountain so the scenery is beautiful. Worth a trip especially if you are heading out of the city to tour the Cape.

We enjoyed a delightful walk at Kirstenbosch. Its a perfect place for peace and tranquility for both the young and old. Gorgeous layout and plenty of options for tours. Particularly informative and something for everyone. Watch out for the summer sunset concerts usually held between Nov and March. They are very special.

We were lucky enough to go to the gardens with Rob who was able to share his knowledge of the plants and their medicinal properties.
